Teeny tiny pebbles are the perfect topper for your succulent's soil. Top dressing has dual benefits of decreasing evaporation so you don't have to water your plants this often and preventing fungus gnats from breeding. With a top dressing, the fungus gnat hatchlings can't get out of the soil and then they die preventing any more fungus gnats from confessing your plants.
